You are what you eat.” Jim Davis ‘Garfield’ BANANA CHOC-CHIP WALNUT MUFFINS Makes 12 This is a recipe I have been using for ages…not sure where I got it from, but the kids seem to love these. You can omit the walnuts or chocolate chips if you like, or increase or decrease the quantity as desired. Preheat oven to 190degC/375degF. Line a 12 muffin regular tray or grease well. Armenian Nut Cake…with a cookie base!!
And here are pictures of the Armenian Nutmeg Cake. The cake was delicious, though it was a bit small for my 8inch tin. Maybe a smaller tin next time. Also, for some reason I didn’t get the crunchy base, but will definitely try this one again. The nutmeg flavour was awesome, and the cake had a certain ‘warmth‘ to it…great with a cuppa coffee! Its the time of the year when the festive season beckons…with Diwali and Christmas just round the corner and winter approaching, it’s fun to bake again. A Good Cake for Dessert
Almond-Orange Sponge with Chocolate Ganache Icing the Passionate Baker This is a much loved combination of almonds, orange and chocolate. The flavours get enhanced while the cake is chilled, and this recipe is a sure winner. I have made this a number of times, and have always received compliments.
