We certainly are getting stoned this season! This Fresh Peach Streusel Cake was delightful. A light, tender crumb, a beautifully flavoured streusel with undertones of almond, clarified butter and brown sugar marrying well.
A simple, stunning and delicious traditional British cake. Wrapping it in dark chocolate plastique made it even more special!

Vanilla Macarons sandwiched with a low fat peaches & cream ice-cream … perfect memories, and perfect for summer!
A Swiss roll or roulade, which uses almond meal instead of flour to deliver a light and delicious dessert. Use pretty much whichever seasonal fruit you have. Summer berries would fit in beautifully, or peaches in cream. If you want to go a different way, try nutella, or then simply a fruit jam or preserve.
