HELLO AGAIN…AM BACK FROM BEAUTIFUL SYDNEY!
“I’ll probably live in Sydney”Andre Benjamin We had the time of our lives…literally!! It’s been a while that I’ve been missing, & am finally back from beautiful & mostly sunny Sydney. Rather eventful trip, as all trips with kids generally tend to be. Went for about 10 days, via HKG, where we had a brief stop-over.In Sydney, by the 5th day, daughter dearest decided to unleash a fury of yellow colour over Aussie land. CELEBRATING WITH A CHOCOLATE WALNUT TORTE
“Chemically speaking, chocolate really is the world’s perfect food.” Michael Levine I saw this beautiful torte at Canela & Comino, a lovely Peruvian blog a while ago. Baking | The original butter chicken … make yours at home
” If there is one place on the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, it is India.” Romain Rolland Today is India’s 61st Independence Day… & I decided to post something Indian today. In fact, India’s most popular gastronomic export to the Western world, which is Butter Chicken or Murgh Makhani. Quoting from a snippet in a tabloid debating butter chicken vs chicken tikka masala…”Many years ago, a man named Robin Cook, not the novelist, but the late Labour Party leader & Britain’s Foreign Secretary, had stirred an international gastronomic…
