The tart was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.! Combined together, butter, brown sugar, almonds and vanilla beans deliver something special. The crust was crisp, and the tart came together beautifully. A Swiss roll or roulade, which uses almond meal instead of flour to deliver a light and delicious dessert. Use pretty much whichever seasonal fruit you have. Summer berries would fit in beautifully, or peaches in cream. If you want to go a different way, try nutella, or then simply a fruit jam or preserve.
