Dark Chocolate Wholegrain Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Dark Chocolate Wholegrain Cupcakes with Maple Syrup Cream Cheese Frosting. It's been forever since I baked cupcakes or muffins. I bake cakes and cookies more often I guess, possibly, lazy me. Dark Chocolate Wholewheat & Walnut Cupcakes
These Dark Chocolate Wholewheat & Walnut Cupcakes are easy to stir together with almost staple pantry ingredients, they are light, moist and full of chocolaty flavour. Have them as they are 'naked' if that's your call, else spruce them up with a sinful dark chocolate ganache, some sprinkles if you like, and voila! You have magic {if I may say so myself}. That these are wholewheat, use jaggery as a sweetener and top of the milk cream or 'malai' make them worth the try!!

These muffins are great for a coffee loving Mum! Nothing like a deep, delicious espresso cupcake to make the day complete. Dark chocolate pairs beautifully with coffee, and IMHO, a creme chantilly topping might compliment these cupcakes nicely too.
