Walnut Chocolate Pumpkin Tart is wholegrain & eggless, and full of delicious healthy walnuts. It can go vegan with a few changes. I also used some finger licking good walnut butter in this, jars of which we carried back home from Lodi in California. It's the best thing in the world. You must make some!

Bitter Kumquat Marmalade ... when so little gives you so much! This is a marmalade I've been making for years each time the shrub in the yard gives me this citrusy fruit. Referred to as Chinese oranges, tangerines or narangis, they had little use other than just being an ornamental fruit when we were kids.

The quintessential Garam Masala Christmas Fruit Cake, one I bake every year. Fruit mince from scratch soaked in a gentle mix of orange zest, orange juice, garam masala, whiskey, brandy and rum. Not very potent yet pleasing enough.
