TRAVEL
There was a time I loved traveling, both around the world and across India. I've travelled in the 'golden years' ... nostalgic words a Virgin cabin crew on a flight to London recently said when she heard that I first visited the UK in 1989, and almost a 100 times after. While going around the globe has been most beautiful, travelling the length & breadth of India is by far my favourite, absolutely fascinating. While a number of my travels have gone undocumented on the blog, there are still quite a few here. I am forever grateful for the experience.

Lakshman Sagar, Rajasthan. ‘Where all you do is ‘nothing’!!
Nothing quite prepares you for the luxury and peace of Lakshman Sagar. Nothing at all. It caught me by surprise, a place I have been putting off visiting for over a year. Now I can't wait to get back there again!! That's just how good the resort is, the team that delivers their concept of "slow Living" like it should be. And the concept comes with oodles of down to earth luxury. Not rose tinted, not high heeled in any way. It's down to earth good, and just the way I like love it.

Ptasie_mleczko Cake or Birds Milk Cake … moist and delicious dessert cake
Ptasie_mleczko or Birds Milk Cake finds it's roots possibly in the Old Soviet Union. A preparation for the light as air filling quite as intriguing as the name 'birds milk', it's a moist and delicious cake that takes well to added flavours.
