Lakshman Sagar, Rajasthan. ‘Where all you do is ‘nothing’!!
Nothing quite prepares you for the luxury and peace of Lakshman Sagar. Nothing at all. It caught me by surprise, a place I have been putting off visiting for over a year. Now I can't wait to get back there again!! That's just how good the resort is, the team that delivers their concept of "slow Living" like it should be. And the concept comes with oodles of down to earth luxury. Not rose tinted, not high heeled in any way. It's down to earth good, and just the way I like love it.

Pune on my mind … another trip down memory lane
“Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow.” Anita Desai The sweet Cookaroo stopped by the other day to meet Coco, our little cocker spaniel. She carried some Misal Pav with her. Misal Pav is a traditional Maharashtrian dish usually made with sprouted moong dal/lentils, served with a local bread, pav. Like a blast from the past, the flavours took me back to a visit to Pune a couple of years ago. We were a bunch of food bloggers en route to Baramati invited to visit the Four Seasons Winery. That trip was special as we hit it off well. A common factor tied us together… food! Wine too…

Jaipur… a trip down memory lane
Jaipur is a beautiful city with the awe inspiring architecture, so well looked after too. Heritage around every corner, it is really well planned. The Pink City as Jaipur is also called, is truly ready for the global tourist, and is a photographers delight!

Jaipur Marriott … memories of a lifetime
Jaipur MarriottIt was a weekend to remember, a road-trip to Jaipur that took us for a most beautiful and memorable time well spent. It was an experience that brought whole new meaning to the phrase "little things that matter". A visit to Jaipur, the Pink City, will always hold the promise of magic. A visit to the Pink City hosted by the Jaipur Marriott resulted in magic, yet also doubling the joy and memories.
